The Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering

The Florida State University College of Engineering has five departments among which the Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering is one. The department of chemical and biomedical engineering offers degrees in both graduate and undergraduate study. They offer a degree in Bachelor of Science (BS) in chemical engineering. Undergraduate students may choose to follow their BS in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Materials or Biomedical Engineering. The college also offers graduate degrees like MS and PhD in both Chemical and Biomedical Engineering. The department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering encourages research programs in the field of biomedical imaging, Cellular and Tissue Engineering, Multi-scale theory, modeling and simulations, nano-scale science and engineering, plasma reaction engineering, and polymers and complex fluids.
The departmental faculty encourages combining both undergraduate and graduate students along with research students to bring a change in the field of Chemical and Biomedical engineering!

The College of Education maintains a Professional Education Unit (PEU) which has been accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) since 1954. This unit consists of professors from all of the Florida State University campus. The College offers degree programs in both Undergraduate and graduate study in 40 fields developing teachers for a variety of Educational careers.
